After this, on 22 April, when the procession reached the courtyard from Malhani in Jaunpur district, the ritual of seven rounds and vermilion was completed between Dwarachar and Vedic chants. During this, Hindu-Muslim women together kept singing Mangal songs in the marriage till late night.

In the morning, before the departure of the procession, the khichdi ceremony started, then Rajesh bid farewell to the groom’s side according to his ability. During this ritual, the neighbor Parvez wore a gold chain around the groom’s neck, which got a lot of applause from the people present there.
