GUWAHATI: In a continuous effort to reduce traffic congestion in densely populated Guwahati, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma On Tuesday, the foundation stone of a new 580 meter flyover was laid at Zoo Road Tiniali at a cost of about Rs 79 crore.
CM has directed the Public Works Department to complete the construction of the flyover at the earliest so that it can be inaugurated earlier Bohag Bihu In April next year. The target period for construction of the flyover is 18 months.
