He said that as soon as the information was received, relief and rescue work has been started by the district administration, Kinnaur. He said a search was on for the two missing tourists, who were part of a group of 11 members, who were coming from Harsil in Uttarakhand towards Chitkul in Kinnaur district. This group of 11 members was left trapped in the snow at the Lamkhaga pass and when the rescue operation was launched initially 5 bodies were recovered and two people were rescued while 4 were missing. Later two more trekkers were found dead while search is on for the remaining two missing trekkers.
