State Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi on Thursday said Himachal Pradesh is likely to vaccinate 100 per cent of its eligible adult population with the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by next week. He said that Himachal Pradesh is close to giving second dose of vaccination to 90 per cent of the population so far. “We have set a target for ourselves to complete the full saturation of vaccinations in the next seven days,” he said.
He said that Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya is likely to visit Bilaspur on December 5 to attend a function in this regard.
