HP Board Class 10 exam to begin with Hindi (Representational image)
Students who are appearing for the exam must bring their HPBOSE hall ticket and fill the answer sheet properly using the information given on the class 10 admit card.
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) will be conducting the Class 10 final exams for the second term from today, March 11. HP Board will start the exam with Hindi exam, followed by Mathematics exam on March 13 and Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu exam on March 15.
Students who are appearing for the exam must bring their HPBOSE hall ticket and fill the answer sheet properly using the information given on the class 10 admit card. The exam will be held between 8:45 am to 12 noon.
The Himachal Pradesh Board on Thursday said it will form district-level teams across the state to check cheating in class 10 and 12 board exams starting this week. Board Secretary Dr. Vishal Sharma said that all preparations have been completed and 2,180 examination centers have been set up across the state. Sharma Further said that ‘flying squads’ will be formed To check duplication at district level
To prevent cheating and use of unfair means by the students during the examination days, the board has installed several CCTV cameras in the examination hall. In the past one month, there have been several reports of frauds in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The police there have detained 34 students for cheating during board exams and caught 65 copycats across the state.
The board had declared the class 10 and class 12 term 1 exam results on January 2. term 1 10th and 12th exams were held between between September 15 and October 1, 2022 and September 15 and October 6, 2022 respectively. As per the official data, out of 91,262 applicants enrolled for the HPBOSE class 10th exam, 90,896 appeared for the exam. A total of 1,04,773 students have enrolled for the Class 12 HPBOSE exam and out of them 1,04,363 applicants have appeared for the exam.
