Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Monday announced that he would donate his first salary to the Chief Minister Sukhashraya Sahayata Kosh as part of his social responsibility.

It is a step towards serving humanity and those people who are deprived of getting higher education. He added that it would also give them a way to lead a dignified and dignified life.

This relief fund was constituted by the state government on the first day of the new year with the objective of helping needy students and destitute women to pursue higher education. The amount received from this fund will be spent in providing quality higher education to destitute women and girl students.

The Chief Minister said that a special amount would be given to these students and women which would help them in pursuing their desired higher education.

He said that this fund would provide new dimensions to those people who are capable but are deprived of quality education due to financial constraints. Apart from this, the students will also get an opportunity to ensure their contribution to the progress and prosperity of the country and society at large. Sukhu said that this step is not compassion, but the right of every person.
