After Karnataka, now the controversy over hijab has started in Rajasthan too. In Jaipur’s Chaksu, some girl students reached Kasturi Devi College wearing hijab and burqa on Friday. Seeing the girl students, the management told them to come wearing college uniform. On this the girls got angry and started protesting. The girl students also called their families to the college.
On Friday morning, some girls in Chaksu reached the college wearing a burqa. The Kasturba College management refused entry to the girl students in the main building and asked them to come in college uniform. Angry girl students started protesting demanding entry in college only by wearing hijab. Seeing the protest increasing, the college management closed the gate of the main building. The relatives of the girl students and the villagers who reached the spot demanded admission to the girl students in hijab itself, but the college management did not agree.

The girls who reached the college said that all the costumes have been recognized in the Constitution of India. In such a situation, no one should have any objection to wearing the clothes of our religion. Some communal people are troubling us unnecessarily, which is totally wrong. At the same time, the college management has kept silence on this whole matter.
At the same time, soon after the dispute escalated, the police reached the spot and pacified the matter. Jitendra Kumar Verma, sub-inspector of Chaksu police station said that there was a whole controversy regarding wearing burqa-hijab, but now the matter is completely calm.
Were constantly asking for uniform: college management
Sumit Sharma, assistant director of the college, said that for the last few days, the girl students were coming to the college wearing a burqa continuously. The girl students were constantly being asked by the college administration to come in uniform. Ignoring the talk of the college management, the girl students continued to come to the college wearing burqa-hijab, after which today we were forced to stop the girl students by showing strictness. After this, the girls reached the college with some anti-social elements and started shouting slogans fiercely.
