Scope

Three youths lost their lives in a tragic accident in Seraikela, Jharkhand. A truck hit three bike-borne youths. The three youths were returning after playing football.

In-charge of Seraikela police station, Manohar Kumar said that the accident took place on the Seraikela-Kandra road on Sunday. In the evening, three youths were returning home after playing football. Meanwhile, a speeding truck crushed all three between Jeevanpur and Kolbira village. Due to which all three died on the spot. It is being told that the speed of the truck was very high. After being hit by the truck, the three youths dragged along with the truck for some distance. The deceased were identified as Jeetarai Tudu (28), a resident of Kendudih in Kolabira, Tiku Tudu of Rajnagar and Ledam Soren of Bikani. He was returning home after playing a football tournament held in Sarmali.

According to the information, the body of one of the deceased got stuck in the wheel of the truck. Which was removed after much effort. The truck driver fled from the spot after the accident. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem. Police say that the matter is being investigated.
