Speaking about experimenting with tradition, Aniket Satam, fashion designer at Pinkporcupines says, “The jacket cut is based on the traditional kimono of Japan. It is our contemporary attempt to make it more lounge friendly with the waist drawstring and pocket details. The look is durable and Nushrat’s personal style complements the vibe of the outfit perfectly. It’s contemporary as well as climbing roots that complement their personality as well,” it says, adding, “It’s anti-fit and size-friendly, functional and can be used in a variety of ways. Nusrat’s kimono is made from pure indigo cotton denim which is hand bleached to give a grunge effect.
