According to a recent report, Hera Pheri stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal are all set to star in three films together.

Hera Pheri fans now have a reason to rejoice as the popular trio- Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal are all set to come back together on the big screen! If reports are to be believed, the three actors who have given many blockbusters are coming together for three sequels of the superhit films.

As per a report in ETimes, Akshay, Sunil and Paresh recently shot for a special promo in Mumbai. The promo, which will be out soon, announces their collaboration on multiple films.

A source close to the production of the promo shoot revealed, “Akshay, Sunil and Paresh are coming together not only for the Hera Pheri sequel but also for the sequels of Awara Pagal Deewana and Welcome. This association and all other details around the three films are being worked out, but the coming together of all three hit actors is final.”

For those unaware, the original films Hera Pheri, Awara Pagal Deewana and Welcome were all backed by producer Firoz Nadiadwala. Firoz has been in the news of late for the sequel to Hera Pheri 3 and the constant barrage of speculations around the franchise.

The speculation started last year when Akshay Kumar’s exit from Hera Pheri 3 became a huge talking point. After that, Suniel Shetty came out in support of Akshay being a part of the sequel.

Now as per the latest developments, the popular combination of Akshay, Sunil and Paresh Rawal will headline not only the Hera Pheri franchise but also the franchises of Welcome and Awara Pagal Deewana.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Selfie, which also stars Emraan Hashmi, Nushrat Bharucha and Diana Penty. Directed by Raj Mehta, the film will hit the screens on February 24. Akshay and Emraan will be seen in the roles played by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu respectively.

Suniel Shetty, on the other hand, recently made his OTT debut with Sameer Kakkar’s web series Dharavi Bank, a crime-thriller featuring cat-and-mouse between Thalaivan and JCP Jayant Gavaskar, who is involved in a Rs 30,000-crore crime nexus. is located in the background.
