Hema Malini celebrated her 75th birthday on October 16. Several Bollywood celebrities including her actor-husband Dharmendra, daughter Esha Deol, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha, Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff among others joined Bollywood’s Dream Girl for her a star-studded bash held in Mumbai. Hema Malini on Tuesday took to her official X account to share a series of stunning photos from her birthday celebration.

In one of the photos, shared by the veteran actress-turned-politician, Dharmendra and Hema cannot take their eyes off each other. Hema Malini has had an “unconventional marriage” with Dharmendra, who tied the knot with the actress while being already married to Prakash Kaur.

Sharing the pics with Dharmendra, Hema wrote, “16-10-23 was indeed a platinum day in my life and the birthday party at the Aurika hotel in the evening was a big success. Dharamji’s presence throughout was my blessing.”

While many Bollywood stars were present in the party, what grabbed netizens’ attention was Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol’s absence, especially after the duo’s reunion with Esha Deol at Gadar 2 screening in August. Celebrating the tremendous response to Gadar 2, Esha had organised a special screening of the film for her close friends and family members in August. This was reportedly the first time that Dharmendra’s four children— Esha and Ahana from Hema Malini, and Sunny and Bobby from Prakash Kaur– made a public appearance together.
