The price of gold in India saw a huge drop on Tuesday. The yellow metal has been under pressure from its international competitors for the past few weeks. In October, on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold fell 0.55 per cent to Rs 46,629 per 10 grams at 12:55 pm on October 5. On Tuesday also the decline in silver continued. The precious metal fell 0.29 per cent to Rs 60,779.
