The scorching heat continues to wreak havoc in about 70% of the country. About 80% of the country’s population is in its grip. On Wednesday, the temperature crossed 44 degrees in 33 cities of the country. In seven of these cities, the temperature was more than 45 degrees. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the temperature will increase continuously in the remaining three days of April in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand.

There will be severe heat wave on the coming three days i.e. 28, 29 and 30 April. May 1st Sunday will probably be the peak of summer. On Sunday, the temperature in many areas of these states can be recorded up to 47-48 degrees. However, from May 2, the temperature is expected to decrease.

According to the Meteorological Department, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh at 45.6 degrees on Wednesday. On Wednesday, the mercury remained above 45 degrees in 14 cities of the world. Of these, 14 cities are from India and Pakistan. The highest day temperature in the world was recorded at 57.4 degrees Celsius in Sitki, Swaziland.

Here, Wednesday was the hottest day of the season in Una. The temperature was recorded at 41.7 degree Celsius on the previous day. It is expected to rain on Thursday i.e. today. Tourists are enjoying river rafting in the Beas of Kullu.

Shimla is also witnessing record-breaking heat. However, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that people can get relief on Thursday. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain with strong storm at some places in the plains, mid-altitude and high mountain areas.

Bilaspur recorded 38 degrees, Hamirpur, Kangra and Mandi 37 degrees, Sundernagar 36 degrees, Bhuntar, Dharamsala, Nahan, Solan, Chamba 35 degrees, Shimla 27.1 degrees and Manali 27.2 degrees Celsius.

Heat breaks the record of 5 years in Punjab, today Amritsar’s mercury may cross 42 degrees
There is a continuous increase in the temperature of Amritsar district of Punjab. In a single day, there was a jump of two degrees in the temperature of the city, after which the heat has broken the record of the last 5 years.
