‘He gives ‘4 quintals of abuses’ to Sonia, Rahul’: Mallikarjun Kharge hits back at PM Narendra Modi

Vadodara: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of hurling “four quintal abuses” at the Congress and its leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Addressing a rally in Waghodia town of Gujarat’s Vadodara district in support of Congress candidate Satyajitsinh Gaikwad, Kharge said, “Modi ji claims that Congress abuses him two kilograms everyday. The truth is that you give us four quintals of abuses. Sometimes you target me or Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi. You are not able to digest your food without abusing us. But to the citizens, we never say anything. The Congress president was apparently referring to PM Modi’s remarks at a rally in Kalol town in Panchmahal district, where he said a competition was going on among Congress leaders as to who would use the most derogatory words against him.

“I respect Kharge ji. But he will say only what he is told to say. Congress party does not know that this is Gujarat of Ram bhakts. In the land of Ram bhakts, he has been asked to say 100 to Modi ji went.” -headed Ravana,” PM Modi further said. Last month, speaking at a public meeting in Hyderabad, Modi had said he received ‘2.5-3 kilos’ of abuse daily, but would convert harsh comments into positive energy. Huh.

Addressing a rally in Ahmedabad city’s Behrampura area on Monday, Mallikarjun Kharge said, “The prime minister asks to vote by seeing his face in all elections. Are you a 100-headed Ravana?”

He said, “Modiji repeatedly claims that we insulted him. He accuses me and other Congress leaders of using abusive words for him. Sometimes Modiji says he is poor. How long will you Will keep saying (that I am poor)? How is this possible when you have served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for almost thirteen and a half years and as PM for the last eight years?” asked the Congress chief.

“Imagine the plight of Dalits, poor and tribals if Modi remains poor even after two decades of being chief minister and prime minister,” Kharge said. Accusing Modi of making such claims to garner sympathy, the Congress president asked him to raise the issue of development during the elections.

He said that if the Congress had not protected Indian democracy and the Constitution for seven decades, Modi and his friends would never have become Prime Minister and Chief Minister. Kharge also accused the PM and his government of selling off properties that were built during the previous Congress regime.

He said, “Whatever we have built in the past, Modiji is selling everything, whether it is a port or an airport. After selling such assets, they ask us what we have done in the last 70 years. I tell them Want to let you know that whatever we’re selling.” made,” he alleged.

In the second phase, polling will be held on 93 seats including Waghodia seat on December 5.
