New Delhi: As India continues to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, the Center on Saturday listed some post-vaccination symptoms, including shortness of breath and weakness in any part of the body, that may require immediate attention. Is.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, sharing a graphic on Twitter, suggested everyone to be alert for symptoms that occur within 20 days of the administration of any vaccine.
Below is a list of symptoms within 20 days of vaccination that may require immediate attention:
- shortness of breath
- Pain in chest
- vomiting or persistent abdominal pain
- blurred vision or eye pain
- severe or persistent headache
- weakness in any part of the body
- pain in the limbs or swelling in the arms or legs

Meanwhile, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed the historic figure of 79 crore with the administration of more than 25 million vaccine doses in the last 24 hours.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a release that the total immunizations as on 7 am provisional figures are 2.15 crore, while the total immunizations reported by the states are over 2.5 crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the nation on this stupendous achievement and said that “every Indian would be proud of today’s record vaccination numbers”.
“Countless individuals and organizations have thrown themselves into some noble cause of community service today. I salute them for their remarkable efforts. There is nothing better than giving back to the society and helping others,” he tweeted.
