Haryana school reopening: Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal on Thursday announced that schools for classes 1 to 3 will reopen from Monday, September 20, 2021. He has directed the school authorities to strictly follow all the COVID-19 guidelines. As reported by PTI, the minister further said that classes will resume strictly following the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the Education Department.
However, it is not mandatory for the students to attend the physical classes as the online classes will continue simultaneously.
As per the instructions of the government, students will have to obtain a consent letter from their parents to attend school.
- To ensure social distancing, a gap of at least six feet has to be maintained between two students.
- Wearing of mask is mandatory.
- Thermal scanning and hand sanitization will have to be done at the entrance of the school.
- Each student will be allotted only one desk and sharing of food or any other items will be prohibited.
Earlier on September 1, Haryana schools were reopened for classes 4 and 5. Earlier, the state government had in July allowed physical classes to resume for students of classes 9 to 12 and students of classes 6 to 8 to return to school. later school.
The Minister further said that more than 70% of the teachers have been vaccinated.
