Gurugram: Among government doctors Haryana Threatened to take out a protest rally near the Chief Minister’s residence Karnal On December 5, if the state government does not withdraw its decision to implement the online transfer policy and till then assign additional duty to the para-medical staff.
NS Haryana Civil Medical Services (HCMS) Association submitted a memorandum in this regard on Tuesday Gurugram Health Department and District Administration. The association is also demanding the creation of a ‘specialist cadre’ for doctors without any delay.
The association’s vice-president Dr MP Singh told TOI that the state government had earlier agreed to implement their demands of additional pay hike to specialist doctors and assured career progression (ACP) at par with other northern Indian states.
“We had a meeting with the Haryana Chief Minister on July 24, where our long-pending demands were accepted. However, no progress has been made since then. The association has given representations several times, but our demands It’s not done yet,” she said.
According to the association, doctors are being forced to protest.
Singh said, “We will hold a general body meeting in Karnal on December 5 and after that we will march towards CM House to present our demands. We have submitted our demands to the civil surgeon and deputy commissioner of Gurugram. ”
The members of the association are also demanding direct recruitment of senior medical officers.
“Also, earlier there was a 10% to 30% incentive for in-service candidates to do post-graduation. Now, we are also seeking restoration of fixed quota for in-service candidates,” said Dr. Rajesh Sheokand, General Secretary, HCMS.
The association has around 3,000 doctors in several government hospitals in Haryana. Earlier on November 9, doctors wore black badges and on November 12, the entire state had protested against the pen-down for two hours.
