A court in Haryana’s Jind on Friday sentenced an associate professor of a government college to four years’ imprisonment for taking bribe from a student. According to an official release, the Additional District and Sessions Court judge also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on Subhash Duggal. Duggal was arrested by the Haryana State Vigilance Bureau after a probe into the corruption allegations began. In 2015, he was booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act, the release said.
