Harish Peradi Slams Association of Malayalam Movie Artists for ‘Anti-Woman’ Stance

A month after Malayali actor Harish Peradi announced his resignation from the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) in protest against the organisation’s ‘anti-women and anti-woman attitude’, he has again pulled out in a recent social media post. . He has said that any organization that protects misogynists and ‘anti-women’ people cannot be called Amma.

After actor Mala Parvati resigned from the organisation’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) for not sacking actor-producer Vijay Babu from the executive committee, Harish Peradi slammed the association leadership.

In his most recent Facebook post, he said his resignation was discussed at an executive meeting two days ago and that AMMA’s secretary general had called him to know if he still stood firm on his stand on resignation.
