Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Sunday said the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act or UAPA should be imposed on criminals who have committed offenses under it and should be arrested.

Sibal’s remarks came after the Haridwar police added names of more accused in the hate speech case, but no one has been “arrested”. Police have added the name of controversial religious leader Yeti Narasimhananda, who allegedly made inflammatory speeches against a community.
