Happy Children’s Day: Shilpa Shetty, Bollywood celebs say ‘keep your inner child alive’

Today (14 November) we celebrate Children’s Day aka Children’s Day. The day also marks the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. Not only children but Bollywood celebrities also celebrate this day with great pomp. Shilpa Shetty shared a quirky video on her Instagram with son Viaan with a message of ‘Keep the child in you alive’ and wrote, “Keep your inner child alive forever! Children’s Day is celebrated on 14 November every year on the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. He is remembered for being fond of young children who used to affectionately address him as ‘Chacha Nehru’. The day is celebrated across the country to raise awareness on various issues related to children, including their education, child rights, abuse etc.

On this today many schools organize many cultural programs in which teachers sing and dance for their students. Various types of institutions organize competitions for children as well.
