Popular Kannada actor Yogesh aka Yogi is celebrating his birthday today. The actor-singer turns 32 this year. He mainly works in Kannada Film Industry. Yogesh made his acting debut in 2007 with the Kannada film Duniya, written and directed by Suri. Yogesh was seen in a supporting role and as the protagonist. The character of the actor named Loose Mada became so popular that since then he was called by the same name. The film was a success and was praised by the audience and critics.
However, Yogesh rose to prominence after appearing in AP Arjun’s directorial venture Ambari. Yogesh and Supreeta are in lead roles in the film. The film opened to positive reviews and in 2009 became the first film to be screened for more than 100 days in several cinema halls in Karnataka. For this film, Yogesh earned the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor.
Later, Yogesh was featured in several successful films such as Hudugru (2011), for which he won the Suvarna Award for Best Supporting Actor, Sidlingu, Alemari and Yare Kougadali.
Apart from films, Yogesh appeared as a judge in the television dance reality show Thaka Dhimi Tha Dancing Star. The show was an adaptation of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Yogesh’s fans are looking very excited as he will soon be seen on screen with his upcoming film Parimala Lodge. It is a romantic comedy directed by Vijay Prasad and produced by S Prasanna. Music is given by J Anoop Selin. The cast of the film includes Neenasam Satish, Suman Ranganath, Dattana, Bullet Prakash and Hema Dutt. The film is all set to hit the theaters on August 12.
On the personal front, Yogesh is married to Sahitya. They married on November 2, 2017 in Bangalore.
