Vishal Dadlani has emerged as one of the finest and most loved music composers of Hindi cinema in recent times. Born on 28 June 1973, Dadlani is also known as a singer and songwriter. His versatility and dynamic sense of music has always enthralled the audience. Dadlani’s strengths are indie rock, pop music and electronica, and he is considered one of the first musicians to introduce independent music into the industry.
The ardent music lover created indie giant OML aka Only Much Louder (2002), a massive music festival. Dadlani mostly works with Shekhar in his musical compositions. These two have churned out a few hits (Jhankaar Beats, Salaam Namaste, Bluffmaster) over the years. His many hit songs include Dus Bahane, Maa Da Ladla, Anjana Anjani, Dhan-Te-Naan, Balam Pichkari, Radha, Dhoom Again, Jee Le Zara, Malhari and many more.

Chammak Challo: From Ra.One, this groovy track was a scintillating mix of Western, Indian and Middle Eastern music. This was Dadlani’s first collaboration with global star Akon.
D-Da Punjab: Through his rap in the title song, Dadlani oozes a lot of swag, full of energy. Composed by Amit Trivedi, the song brought in the sinking spirit.
Gulabo: It was a foot-tapping duet of Shaandaar composed by Amit Trivedi, sung by Dadlani and Anusha Mani.
Sacrifice took place: It was a resonant song sung by Dadlani from the movie Kurbaan. Vishal’s husky, passionate rendition of the song was superb.
Musu Musu Hassi: The composition became a national favorite for the youth in the late 90s. It was a melodious, wonderful, romantic song from the movie Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi.
Woh Pehli Baar: This song from the same film was well received by the audience and it is still very popular.
Come on: A powerful track penned by Gulzar for the movie Haider, this high-spirited song sung by Dadlani was wonderfully sung.
