Amidst the security lapse of PM Narendra Modi in Punjab, after the Pakistani boat, now 2 hand grenades have been found in Moga. The 3 accused arrested by Moga police were in contact with Arshdeep Dalla, a category A gangster sitting in Canada of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). The special thing is that this Dalla was mentioned in the Advance Security Liaison (ASL) sent to the Punjab Government before PM Modi’s visit.

In which it was told that in September 2021, the associates of Arshdeep Dalla of KTF living in Canada were caught by the Tarn Taran police with IED, weapons and grenades. It is associated with the banned organization Sikh for Justice (SFJ). There was even a apprehension of Dalla being a sleeper cell in the area visited by the PM.

Moga SSP Charanjit Sohal said that while coming from the side of village Chugawa, the police stopped the vehicle numbered PB04AC-2831. When the police signaled to stop, they drove the car. The accused also broke the police barricade and tried to crush the employees. However, the employees stopped the vehicle by throwing barricades.

When the police stopped the vehicle, the driver and the accused sitting with him got down and pointed a pistol at the police. The accused sitting behind tried to kill the police party by throwing a hand grenade. Taking immediate vigil, the police caught the three.

These weapons were recovered

The arrested accused were identified as Gurpreet Singh Gopi, Varinder Singh Vinda and Baljit Singh. Two hand grenades, two 9 mm pistols, 3 magazines and 18 live cartridges were recovered from them. The accused have now been booked under Arms Act, Bomb Act and murderous attack.

Why did Dalla send hand grenades, inquiry continues

During initial interrogation, the accused said that they were in touch with a gangster sitting in Canada. Gangster Dalla had provided these grenades to him. Which they had to throw at some religious place. For this they had to get money. However, the police say that they are being questioned deeply as to what their intentions were.
