“There couldn’t be a human who is more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan,” Halle Berry said.

Halle Berry has revealed how Pierce Brosnan played a crucial role in restoring her “faith in men” while filming Die Another Day in 2002. At that time, Halle was married to Eric Benet, whose relationship with her ended in 2005, reportedly due to infidelity. Prior to Benet, Halle was married to David Justice, and she had previously spoken about experiencing domestic violence. She later clarified that Justice was not involved in those incidents. Berry credited Pierce Brosnan’s kindness and respect on set as instrumental in helping her regain trust in men, commending his gentlemanly behaviour both during and after the filming.

In a recent interview with Wired, the Oscar-winning actress appreciated Pierce and declared that he will always be her James Bond. The John Wick star mentioned, “I’m a Pierce Brosnan fan. He restored my faith in men on that movie. There couldn’t be a human who is more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan.”

In the same interview, Halle Berry surprised many by revealing that appearing in a James Bond film wasn’t on her bucket list. She explained, “Bond wasn’t on my wishlist, no, to be in one, but I loved the movies always. But having been in one, I feel like I’m a part of cinematic history. Those movies are iconic. They will forever be a part of our history, and I’m really honoured to have been a part of one, especially with Pierce.”

Before stepping into the world of James Bond, Halle Berry gained fame for her role as Storm in the 2000 Marvel film X-Men. Later, in 2002, Berry became popular for her role as Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson in Die Another Day. Her character quickly became one of the most memorable Bond girls in the franchise’s history.

While filming the spy thriller Die Another Day, Halle Berry was married to singer Eric Benet; they divorced in 2005 amid rumours of infidelity. Before Benet, Halle was married to baseball player David Justice from 1992 to 1996. Following that, she dated actor and model Gabriel Aubry from 2006 to 2010, with whom she has a daughter named Nahla. Halle’s next relationship was with French actor Olivier Martinez from 2010 to 2015, and they have a son together. Both of these relationships faced numerous challenges and ended after several ups and downs. Since 2020, Halle has been dating singer Van Hunt.
