Bogotá: Haiti has urged US and UN security forces to help protect key infrastructure such as airports and ports, a government minister said on Friday.

Police in Haiti said the killing was carried out by a commando unit of 26 Colombian and 2 Haitian-American mercenaries. The two Haitian Americans were identified as 35-year-old James Soulage and 55-year-old Joseph Vincent, both from Florida.
