Gurugram Police to implement Integrated Road Accident Database Project.

Gurugram Police will soon implement the Integrated Road Accident Database (IRAD) project under which a database of road accidents, locations and action taken will be created.

A meeting in this regard was held on Saturday (April 2) under the chairmanship of Gurugram Police Commissioner Kala Ramachandran.

All the information collected by the police regarding road accidents, accident site (incident) and action taken etc. will be uploaded on IRAD software.

According to the police, a login ID will be generated from this database in the name of the investigating officer of each police station.

On logging in, all the information collected by the Investigating Officer regarding the accident will be uploaded on the IRAD software.

Police said that the information provided by this software will be easy to assess and the causes of accidents will be detected and redressed in time. User (Investigation Officer) can easily view and evaluate the information uploaded regarding the accident.
