Gurugram: New sector roads inspected by officials Gurgaon News – Times of India

Gurugram: for the better Street Connectivity in new areas, a team of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) officials on Friday conducted a site inspection of various missing links between Sector 77 and 99.
This has come to the fore after a meeting between Badshapur MLA Rakesh daulatabad and GMDA CEO Sudhir Rajpal, which was held earlier this week.
According to the GMDA official, there are around 45 missing links between Sector 58 and 115 due to various litigation, legal hurdles, land acquisition, which is hampering the construction of roads in the new residential area.
“We are making all efforts to remove the bottlenecks and are continuously coordinating with other agencies for the same. The matter under consideration is an obstacle, however, we are insisting on finding a solution. A senior GMDA official said, “We are coordinating with the authorities concerned to clear the land at the places where there has been encroachment or any kind of obstruction.
Apart from this, the GMDA official said that most of the road Repairs The work in these sectors has been completed and the rest of the work will also be completed soon.
However, locals said that despite infrastructure development works estimated at crores sanctioned by the authority, hardly any work is visible on the land. He attributed the slow pace of development in the region to technical constraints.
“There are some roads which require immediate attention, especially Rampura Chowk To Pataudi Road Which caters to heavy traffic. GMDA has made the tendering process so complicated that they are not able to find a bidder and the companies that are coming forward are not able to fulfill all the conditions of the tender, which is causing delay,” said Sector 92 Resident Praveen Malik said.
