GURUGRAM: The Gurugram Police On Tuesday, two grenades, 15 practice grenades, 43 long-range blank cartridges and an eight-feet long bikt strip were recovered from a vacant house near a CNG petrol pump in Sector 31, where three persons were killed a day earlier.
According to the report, a grenade spread after a controlled explosion in a four-feet deep ditch around the house.
Earlier, the police had launched a massive search operation following a tip-off about arms and ammunition hidden inside the house.
Virender Vij, DCP Gurugram EastSaid, “We had received information about ammunition in an empty house in Sector 31. Bomb disposal squad and several police teams have launched an operation. Bomb disposal squad is following a protocol and their investigation is complete. Only after that, we will be able to ascertain any details.”
