Gandhinagar: Corona vaccination is increasingly being emphasized across the country. The Gujarat government has ordered all businesses and private institutions in the state to vaccinate all their employees by June 30, along with a night curfew. The state government has warned that businesses and private institutions that do not comply with this order will be closed. In other cities of the state, this deadline is till July 10.
According to the Information Department of Gujarat, “Curfew is currently in force in 18 cities of the state. All managers, owners and other employees of businesses and private institutions in these cities will have to get vaccinated by June 30. For other cities, the deadline is till July 10.”

Night curfew is imposed in these cities
In the meeting of the core committee chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, it has been decided to maintain the system of night curfew in 18 cities of the state. Earlier night curfew was imposed in 36 cities of the state. According to Chief Secretary Anil Mukim, “In the meeting, it has been decided to maintain the system of night curfew in 18 cities of the state including 8 municipal corporation areas. At the same time, it has been decided to remove this system in 18. cities”.
The new order regarding night curfew in the state will be applicable from June 27.
Night curfew will be in place in these cities from 10 pm to 6 am. These include Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Vapi, Ankleshwar, Valsad, Navsari, Mehsana, Bharuch, Patan, Morbi, Bhuj and Gandhidham.
More relaxation in Gujarat
In Gujarat too, the exemption on the restrictions imposed due to the lockdown has been increased. In Gujarat, restaurants with up to 60 per cent seating capacity are allowed to remain open till 9 pm. Multiplexes, cinema halls and auditoriums can open with 50% labor force. 40 people can attend the funeral, while 100 people have been allowed to attend the wedding ceremony. Not more than 200 people can attend political and religious events.
