Ahmedabad: Gujarat 15 new cases were registered on Saturday coronavirus An official of the state health department said that its number of infections rose to 8,25,287. With one more death in Rajkot, the Covid-19 toll in the state stands at 10,079, the official said.
He said that at present there are 184 active cases in the western state, out of which five patients are in critical condition.
Vadodara district reported the maximum number of five new cases, followed by four in Ahmedabad, three in Surat and one each in Anand, Bhavnagar and Rajkot, the official said.
The Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu reported two new COVID-19 cases and one recovery during the day, it said.
With this, the region’s Covid-19 tally stands at 10,631, which includes four casualties and four active cases.
A release issued here said that 3,97,524 people were vaccinated against the corona virus during the day, taking the total number of doses administered so far to 4,26,66,652 in the state.
