Gujarat Election 2022: BJP leaders discussed the strategy to win the upcoming Gujarat elections and various ways to strengthen the saffron party’s public relations during the state executive meeting here on Saturday. Union minister and BJP’s Gujarat in-charge Bhupendra Yadav spoke of ensuring a resounding victory for the BJP in the elections to be held in December this year, which coincides with the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

The party said state BJP president CR Patil, chief minister Bhupendra Patel and state general secretary Ratnakar were among the party leaders and office-bearers who attended the meeting held in Surat after a gap of nearly 25 years. Addressing the gathering, Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been an increase in awareness in the matter of “manpower and defense power” in the country in the last eight years and in Gujarat in the last 25 years, a release said.

The objective of the ‘One Day, One District’ campaign is to reach out to as many people as possible at the grassroots level.

Talking about campaigning, Patil said that he has traveled 1.32 lakh kilometers in the last two years to organize 841 events across Gujarat. In another first experiment in the country for a party, a database of all workers and voters of Gujarat is fed into one application, identifying voters from over 50 lakh families across 52,000 booths and the government schemes benefited by them. has been collected. About 15 lakh people have attended Modi’s five big rallies in the past few months, he said, adding that the state has benefited from the “double engine” government, which is getting farmers good prices for their crops. State cabinet minister Jitu Vaghani talked about the “Vande Gujarat” campaign to reach out to the voters by showcasing the development work done by the BJP government in the last 20 years.

He said that on July 5, “Vande Gujarat Rath” was flagged off by the Chief Minister and more than 2,500 projects in the fields of agriculture, industry, rural areas, tribal development etc. were displayed. The Congress had improved its 2012 tally from 16 to win 77 seats.
