Jammu: An Indian Army On Sunday the soldier made a new Guinness World Record For solo cycling (men) by pedaling from Leh to Manalik in record time.
A defense statement said, “Lieutenant Col. Shripad Shriram The Strategic Strikers Division of the 1st Corps has set a new Guinness World Record for ‘Fastest Singles Cycling – (Men)’ from Leh To Manali on Sunday.

“The total distance covered was 472 kilometres, with a total altitude of about 8,000 metres.
“The event was a part of the ceremony Swarnim Vijay Varsh And also to mark the occasion of 195th Gunners Day.
“The officer successfully installed a new Guinness World record for completing the route in 34 hours and 54 minutes”.
