The strained relationship between aunt Sunita Ahuja and nephew Krushna Abhishek has frequently made headlines. While Krushna’s sister, Aarti, celebrated her first Raksha Bandhan after getting married at their uncle Govinda’s house, Sunita recently revealed in an interview that she doesn’t get along with her nephew or his wife, actor Kashmera Shah.
Sunita recently shared on the Timeout with Ankit podcast that she isn’t part of Kapil Sharma’s show because of Krushna and his wife. She said that she doesn’t get along with the couple. “See, I will tell you one thing, main jhooth nahi bolungi, Krushna-Kashmera se mera nahi jamta hai… toh show karti main, agar woh log nahi hote,” she straight-batted.
And now, in a chat with HT, Krushna Abhishek has reacted to his mami’s thoughts about them. He said that he loves her a lot and will make it up with her. “I love her a lot. Mami has always loved me like her kid, and also done a lot for me. She has all the right to be angry on me. I know she says everything in anger, but it is nothing else. Main unka mana lunga, she is my mami,” Krushna said.
Sunita had earlier said that she’d love to do Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show but she can never forgive Krushna, who’s a part of the show. She said, “But he (Krushna) is with Kapil. Otherwise, I would have loved to do it. Mere life ka principle hai ki main agar ek baar kisi ko chhod doon na, phir agar bhagwan bhi mere paas aayega toh main uss insaan ko maaf nahi kar sakti. If it is not my fault and people misbehave, phir main uski shakal bhi nahi dekhti.”
In 2018, Govinda’s wife Sunita was upset by a tweet from Krushna’s wife, Kashmera Shah, about “people who dance for money.” Sunita believed the comment was aimed at Govinda, leading the couple to sever ties with Krushna and Kashmera.
