There was silence at the bus stand of Jalandhar due to the closure of government buses.

Due to the strike of contract workers in Punjab, there is a traffic jam of government buses even on the 6th day. However, the bus stand will remain open. Passengers who have to go somewhere by private buses can board the buses from the bus stand. Contract workers will protest outside their depots. The most important thing is that the contract employees have a meeting with CM Captain Amarinder Singh in Chandigarh on Tuesday, 14th September. If the solution is found on that day, it is fine otherwise the employees have warned of jamming the highway. In such a situation, if the government delays again, then the problems of the troubled common people may increase even before the government buses are closed.

Earlier also, in the case of sugarcane farmers, the government took about 5 days to increase the rate and due to this, road and rail passengers had to face a lot of trouble. Gurpreet Singh, the district head of Punjab Roadways, Punbus Contract Employees Union, said that this time he would not fall under the guise of the government. Till the matter is not resolved, the government buses will remain jammed. They will return to work only if the government finds a solid solution. Where and which highway will the union jam? An announcement regarding this will be made after a meeting with the government on Tuesday. Apologizing for the problems of the people, he said that everything is in the hands of the government. She can immediately find a solution and get the buses running.

Chances of conflict between government and employees

Due to the blockade of government buses, the Captain government is getting a lot of humiliation. There are 5 months left in the Punjab Assembly elections. In such a situation, the women of the government are not getting the facility of free bus travel. At the same time, the allegations against the government regarding the private transport mafia are also increasing. In view of this, the government has sent notices to the striking employees to return to work. A warning has been given to cancel their contract for not running the buses. At the same time, the union is also firm on its stand that instead of repeated false trust, they will take the final decision this time. However, what will happen to the notice and the salary of the employees? Nothing is clear about this yet.
