Google Searches For ‘Dogecoin’ Skyrocketed 1,992% After Musk Changes Twitter’s Logo

New Delhi: After Elon Musk changed Twitter’s bird logo to Dogecoin’s Shiba Inu on April 3, online searches for cryptocurrency ‘dogecoin’ on Google soared by 1,992 per cent worldwide, a new report showed on Tuesday.

Searches by Japanese online casino guide 6Takarakuji showed that this is a more than 20x increase in search interest compared to the average level over the past seven days.

Searches for ‘buy doge’ and ‘buy dogcoin’ also increased by 1,044 and 253 percent, respectively, and Shiba Inu Coin also saw a 132 percent increase.
