Google’s upcoming foldable smartphone is likely to come with a 120Hz refresh rate display like its competitors. The phone is expected to sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom. It is also rumored that Google’s under-screen camera will also debut with the brand’s first foldable device.
Reports suggest that Google’s foldable smartphone will be powered by Tensor chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The phone is expected to get up to 512GB of internal storage.
Google hasn’t officially revealed any information about the upcoming foldable device, though the tech giant has confirmed testing a foldable prototype. According to online reports, Google has tied up with Samsung to buy LTPO OLED panels for foldable smartphones. Reports also suggest that the Pixel Fold will feature a 7.6-inch display with a resolution of 1768 x 2208 pixels.
It is expected that the tech giant will try to constrain Samsung’s market share with competitive pricing for the upcoming foldable device.
