Goods worth one crore rupees looted from businessman’s house. Mysuru News – Times of India

Hassan: Thieves barged into a businessman’s house in Visvesvaraya Extension on Tuesday evening with gold, silver and diamonds worth Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 24 lakh in cash.
The businessman has been identified as Raghu.
According to the police, Raghu, his wife, son and mother-in-law had gone to their brother’s house in Chikkondagula at 6.30 pm at the time of the incident. When his mother-in-law lived with his brother, his wife would move to the city and Raghu used to drop his son to a coaching centre.
Then at 7.45 pm, Raghu’s brother-in-law Varadraj called him on the phone and informed him about the theft. Raghu ran to the house and was shocked to see that the main door, cupboard and locker of the three rooms were broken.
Thieves robbed 2 kg of gold, 4 kg of silver articles, diamond jewelery worth Rs 21 lakh.
Fingerprint experts and dog squad investigated the house.
“We have collected CCTV views from the nearby houses. We are working on the matter,” Hassan DSP Puttaswamygowda said.
