Also, many healthcare workers forget to carry the card with them. Keeping this in mind, the officials said that even if the patient does not have a health card, there will be no problem in getting him admitted to the hospital. Health card holder should have Aadhar number. Patients will get this benefit only if they give the cardholder’s Aadhaar number in the Swasthya Partner Portal.
Not only this, many people have not yet got a health card. The state health department is also thinking about them. The health department said that if a patient does not have a health card during treatment in the hospital, the hospital authorities will issue a new health card to the patient.
At present, about 2.3 crore people in the state are getting the benefit of health cards. Health officials believe that many more people will benefit from the new guidelines issued by the Health Department.
