Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been one of the most successful shows in Indian television history. While it has continued to rule the hearts of the audience for almost 15 years, of late TMKOC has faced several exits from its star cast. But looks like TMKOC fans can finally rejoice. The makers are now re-introducing the character of Bawri and actress Navina Wadekar has been roped in for the role.
Speaking on the development, the show’s producer Asit Kumar Modi told IANS, “I wanted a fresh and innocent face for the character of Bawri and we fortunately found what we were looking for.” Also promised.
Modi feels Navina will be the ideal replacement for Monika Bhadauria who had earlier quit the show. Asit Modi requests the audience to shower their love on Navina Wadekar who has been selected after multiple auditions. “Our show is the most loved show by the audience, and we need to meet their expectations. I am sure they will love Bawri, played by Navina Wadekar. She is enthusiastic and understands the brand Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. We auditioned a lot of talent and shortlisted them. I request the viewers to shower their love and blessings on Nai Bawari.
The character of Bawri is a simple girl from Kanpur who is the love interest of Bagha played by Tanmay Vekaria. This character was missing from the show for a long time.
The current story of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah revolves around the breakup of Bagha and Bawri. Bawri returns from her hometown and promises to meet Bagha in the garden, but instead of doing so, she sends him a message announcing their breakup.
Vikas creates an atmosphere of tension in the Gokuldham Society. Everyone including Jethalal and Nattu Kaka is curious as to why Bawri reacted like this. The characters and the audience will get the answer in the upcoming episodes with new casting.
