Gold rose marginally; Silver rises by Rs 323

According to HDFC Securities, gold rose marginally by Rs 37 to Rs 46,306 per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday. In the previous trade, this precious metal had closed at Rs 46,269 per 10 grams.

Silver also rose by Rs 323 to Rs 62,328 per kg from Rs 62,005 per kg in the previous trade.

In the international market, gold was trading marginally lower at USD 1,766 an ounce and silver at USD 23.36 an ounce.

According to Tapan, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities, “Spot gold prices declined marginally to USD 1,766 an ounce in Somex trading on Monday. Monday under pressure from a stronger dollar and mixed global cues. The price of gold rose to Rs. Patel.
