Gold fell by Rs 283; Silver fell by Rs 661
According to HDFC Securities, gold on Friday fell by Rs 283 to Rs 46,570 per 10 grams in the national capital amid weak international trends. In the previous trade, this precious metal had closed at Rs 46,853 per 10 grams. Silver also declined by Rs 661 to Rs 65,514 per kg from Rs 66,175 per kg in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading at $ 1,799 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 25.15 an ounce.
HDFC Securities, Senior Analyst (Commodities), Tapan Patel said, “A selloff was observed in gold prices coupled with rise in US bond yields.
