Gold prices in India continued to fall on Wednesday. On March 16 at 0918 on the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold futures fell by 0.29 per cent to Rs 51,414. Silver also declined on Wednesday following global cues. The precious metal fell 0.55 per cent to Rs 67,947 per kilogram on March 16.
Gold prices remained stable in the international market on Wednesday. Investors were cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve meeting on Wednesday. Analysts expected the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates to control rising inflation.
