Gold Declines Rs 55; Silver Tumbles Rs 455

New Delhi: On Tuesday, gold fell by Rs 55 to Rs 56,865 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market. HDFC Securities gave this information. In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 56,920 per 10 grams.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst – Commodities Saumil Gandhi said, “Spot gold is trading lower by Rs 55 to Rs 56,865 per 10 grams in Delhi markets.”

In the overseas market, gold was trading higher at $1,863 an ounce, while silver was trading at $21.95 an ounce.

Gandhi said Comex gold prices edged higher in Asian trading hours on Tuesday but traded in a range ahead of US CPI data, which will be released later in the day.
