K-drama co-stars Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook from the 2016 fantasy rom-com Goblin have reunited. If you’re a fan of the show, you know that these two actors played Goblin and Grim Reaper, and their onscreen bromance was nothing short of amazing. Well, it turns out that their chemistry wasn’t just limited to the show, as the two have remained close friends in real life too.

Recently, they appeared in commercials together for SK Enmove, a Korean company that provides premium lube base oil products that enhance automobile fuel efficiency. The dynamic duo showcased the same chemistry that we all fell in love with initially through Goblin.

Adding to the already enjoyable content, Gong Yoo’s agency, Management SOOP, recently released an extra behind-the-scenes video that showcases some entertaining moments between the two actors.

In the 4-minute video, Gong Yoo and Lee Dong-wook’s true friendship shines through. However, it’s not just their friendship that has fans going wild. The chemistry between these two was evident to fans, as they were at their best. Gong Yoo even said that, during the moment when they won the award together, he almost kissed Lee Dong-wook.

That’s not all. The two jokingly “got married”. In one hilarious moment, Gong Yoo made an “announcement” saying, “Today, we’re getting married!” With each joke, Lee Dong-wook remained unphased, clearly used to Gong Yoo’s antics.

It’s been some time since Goblin aired, but it’s clear that Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook’s chemistry is still alive and well.

Gong Yoo plays the 900-year-old goblin Kim Shin in the drama Goblin, who is waiting for his bride to break his curse of immortality. But even though he’s ready to leave Earth, he finds Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) to be charming and pleasant. At first, the goblin finds her annoying but charming. Eventually, they all end up living together, including the Grim Reaper played by Lee Dong-wook.

The relationship between the Goblin and Grim Reaper, who live together despite their constant arguing, is memorable. Despite their fights, they show a strong friendship. When one needs help, the other is always there, showing what true bromance is all about.
