Goa: Prohibition on sale of liquor after 11 pm. Goa News – Times of India

Panaji: With the model code of conduct coming into force for the state assembly elections to be held on February 14, the district magistrates of North and South Goa have imposed restrictions on sales Of Liquor Later 11:00, The order issued on Friday will be effective till the code of conduct is in force.
In the order issued under Section 144 (1) of CrPC, it has been said that the sale of liquor should be stopped every day at 11 pm in bars, pubs, shacks, shops, clubs, provision stores or any establishment.
Establishments can live and operate Later Will provide other services at 11 pm, but will not be able to serve liquor after the time limit.
Any violation can be reported to the office of the District Magistrate concerned.
This order will not apply to bars or shops which do not have a license to remain open till 11 pm. With the formation of flying squads to take action against violations of the election code of conduct, police and excise officials have been directed to ensure compliance of the order.
