Margao: A group of fishermen who had ventured into the sea in their canoe survived a shipwreck on the Benaulim beach in the early hours of Saturday afternoon.
Realizing that the water had entered the motorized canoe, all the fishermen jumped into the sea and swam safely.
Local people and other fishermen rushed to their aid.
