Bengaluru: At a time when airlines are facing scrutiny for multiple violations, another incident came to the fore on Monday, January 9, on social media. The Delhi-bound GoFirst flight left the Bengaluru airport leaving over 50 passengers in a shuttle. Some passengers trapped in the bus narrated their ordeal on Twitter. Aviation regulator DGCA has sought a report from the airline on the incident.

He alleged that flight G8 left at 6.40 am on Monday morning leaving behind 116 passengers. However, in response to a tweet, the airline urged users to share their details and said: “We regret the inconvenience caused.”

Another passenger named Satish Kumar tweeted his boarding pass.

Another user named Neeraj Bhatt shared a video showing the chaos at the airport.

A senior official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said, “We have sought a report from the airline and appropriate action will be taken later.”
