Glenn Maxwell, known as the ‘Big Show’, scored the highest T20I score of the Big Bash League so far, scoring 154 runs, which included 22 fours and four sixes. Opening the bat, he had no mercy on the Hobart Hurricanes as he scored the second fastest century in the BBL, coming off just 41 balls, with Craig Simmons topping the charts to reach the feat in 39 balls in 2014 .
Maxwell hit 22 fours during his innings which is the best by any batsman in T20. Thanks to this big player, his team Melbourne Stars posted a mammoth total of 273/2 in their 20 overs. Several records were broken at the MCG as Melbourne recorded the highest ever score in the BBL and the third highest score in T20 matches in any tournament.
