At the funeral of General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat, the CDS is being given a 17-gun salute as per the prescribed protocol. A total of 800 service personnel were present for the military funeral. Meanwhile, hundreds of people gathered outside the residence of Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat in Delhi to pay their last respects.
